Abstracts are now being accepted for the 15th International Conference
on Environmental Bioindicators <http://www.InformaLearning.com/EBI> ,
which will take place June 7-9, 2007 in Hong Kong. Organized by the
City University of Hong Kong and the International Society of
Environmental Bioindicators (ISEBI), this event will follow the 5th
International Conference on Marine Pollution and Ecotoxicology, being
held from June 4-6, 2007.
Major topics for platform and poster sessions at the 15th International
Conference on Environmental Bioindicators will include:
* Marine and Terrestrial Indicators of Climate Change
* Use of Sentinel Animals for Tracking Bird Flu
* Mercury Bioindicators
* Drugs and the Efficacy of Waste Water Treatment
* Biomarkers of Environmentally-derived Disease
* Microbial Indicators for Tracking Industrial and Sewage Pollution
* Bioindicators of Water, Air and Soil Pollution
* Radioecology
* Genetic Markers
Leading scientists have been invited to deliver keynote addresses, and
to form sessions and workshops in these fields. Other topics will be
added in accordance with abstracts that are submitted. Abstracts will be
accepted across the hierarchical range of indicator systems, from
molecular or genetic indicators to landscape-level indicators, including
microbial, plant and animal indicators.
