I am totally agree with Charles Convis . While I acknowledge that the issues debated might be very important, I am personally not aware of the details of the problem at stake and I don't have the elements and the means to form my personal opinion except that for reading the messages of the two persons involved. Since this approach is highly subjective as well as irrelevant for the spirit and the goals of this mailing list, I would be happier to read more about technical stuff on GIS than on deontological ethic and personal attacks (or defense).
